Yes it certainly is. Unlike other firms our home visits are completely free with no hidden extra costs or terms. Working around a time suitable to you we can show you samples, measure up and give you a full quotation all in one go. Seeing the samples in the area where they are going to be fitted really helps you choose your perfect carpet, whilst getting expert advice.

This can depend on a few different factors such as:

• How big the job is
• Where the carpet is going
• The stock level

A straight forward bedroom could be fitted within a couple of days and usually takes a couple of hours. A stairs and landing could be fitted within a week as these take longer to fit and have to be cut down prior to getting to the job. If you are having a runner on your stairs these will have to be cut down in size before being sent off to be taped/whipped on the edges. This process would take a minimum two weeks to get fitted from measuring. A full house of carpets would need a minimum of one week’s notice to get all the materials together and booked in. A full house of carpets takes one to two days to complete all fitting work

Yes we can, we do provide this service. Unfortunately we do have to charge for this as uplifting existing carpets is time consuming. Also old carpets are classed as trade waste and we have to pay to dispose of these. This will all be discussed before the quotation. Removing the old carpet is very straight forward using a Stanley knife to cut them down in size and just lift them up.

Yes. Prior to fitting the carpet a room must be empty, this allows the carpet to be opened up easily and stretched correctly. However some people circumstances are different and certain furniture will not move and this is understandable. If you are elderly, live on your own or have a disability before the fitting work takes place the furniture can be discussed so everyone is happy on the day of installing the new carpet. Also if you are getting multiple bedrooms carpeted in one day you may struggle to empty all of the rooms as there is nowhere for it to go. This is understandable and if you can get at least one room empty so the work can begin we can help move other bits around on the day. When the measuring up process is carried out this factor will be discussed so there are no shocks and everyone knows the plan.

Absolutely. We have public liability insurance for our peace of mind as well as yours. However fitting carpets generally doesn’t put you or your property at risk. Any drilling that has to be done will be discussed prior to getting carried out, and if pipes or wires are there then other solutions such as sticking can be done instead.

Yes we do. We understand that people are at work through the day so we work around you. Measuring up on evening is no problem, just fill in a contact form on our site and we will arrange something that works for you. If fitting work needs to be done on a weekend or evening this can also be discussed prior to our visit.
